Entry/Exit: Two Blank Visa Page Passport Requirement

January 15, 2008

The passports of all US travelers to Namibia must contain at least two blank (unstamped) visa pages each time entry is sought; these pages are in addition to the endorsement/amendment pages at the back of the passport.   The endorsement/amendment pages cannot to be used for visa purposes.  If a traveler arrives with less than two blank visa pages, it is highly probable that they will be refused entry into Namibia by the immigration official at the port of entry.
As a general precaution, all travelers are advised to carry a certified photocopy of the photo/bio information page of their passport and keep it in a location separate from the passport.
