Mural Launches
Vibrant vivid murals that tell stories about HIV/AIDS and convey HIV prevention messages will be formally launched in November at two local schools, Dawid Bezuidenhout High School in Khomasdal, and the Mandume Primary School in Katutura. The murals were painted by learners at both schools, in collaboration with local artists and art students from the John Muafangejo Art Center. The project was funded by a PEPFAR (President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief) grant from the Public Affairs Section of the United States Embassy.

The ceremony at Dawid Bezuidenhout will take place on November 15 at 11 AM, and the ceremony at Mandume Primary School will take place on November 30 at 11 AM. Mr. Dennis Weeks,  PEPFAR Coordinator for Namibia will speak at both events.
