- Car Security Tips -

• Anecdotal evidence suggests that car theft and car break-ins are on the increase in Namibia.
• When possible, keep vehicle doors locked and windows up.
• Never open your window completely to speak to a stranger.
• Place all parcels and personal items in the trunk of the vehicle.
• Hitchhiking is very common in Namibia. As in many places in the world not all people are simply looking for a lift. Please do not pick up strangers or hitchhikers.
